Joe my suggestion still stands re weights. I am not upset for being banned on the Transformetrics forum for asking a reasonable question. I saw it coming a
long time ago when Peterson started with the "Hey Rubberbus". My PMs to you regarding Atlas which I knew that I couldn't post helped I'm
sure. It was me who posted the Joe Rollino interview. I think that his site is mainly a means to sell his books, supplements and props (although Shen's are
a much better deal and quality). I have no problem with that. I do think that he believes in what he teaches but the high reps will bust him up in the end. Too
many reps or too much weight...they both will get you when you aren't conscious of your body's ageing. Unfortunately the Transformetric forum has
increasingly become a source of misinformation regarding actor's and others training methods. No discussion of weight training is allowed unless it is
negative. No discussion of bodyweight training is allowed unless it is positive. No brag. Just fact.
I love the humour at logging in though..."Welcome Rubberbus" "You are banned for the following reason etc" or has that changed? |

I don't understand your beef, then. First you say John is trying to shield people from weights, I'm guessing you've abandoned that now that I've pointed out how silly it is. Now it's just that he bashes weights and uses his website to promote his products? My first question is, "Is John the first person on the plant to use a website to promote his products?" Uuhhh, the answer to that is a very, very big, "No." But my larger question is if you disagree with the materials presented there and the way the site is ran why bother with it? Why did you ever post there in the first place? If you got PMs from John asking you not to post things, why didn't you just leave? Are you the kind of guy that stands outside of corporations with protest signs? I mean, I don't agree with Dr. Darden's H.I.T. protocol. Do you think I post on his forum just to bash his methods? I think that's the impasse here, I just don't get why you would waste your energy giving a damn about something you don't give a damn about. You're 100% correct. If I could add to your point: Joey's never going to 'get it'. It isn't weights vs. BW. People on this board use it all. It is exaggerated claims re. what Transformetrics will actually produce. And since he's not smart enough to get the difference he's starts with the denials, spin doctoring and the rest. Plus, he's learned the 'avoid any direct answer' trick quite well. Why answer anything directly or objectively when all his insane rants that are off subject appear to suffice in his thinking. Or accuse someone with no objective data to back the claims, then run--you know, cowardly shit. He's never answered for the seven million ways JP's healed his shoulder when asked. Only elite jumpers perform HALO jumps, but, JP claims with no experience does a HALO jump yet Joey doesn't question the honesty of the claim. And on an on. Ignore, deny or laugh about it. But why engage in honest debate if you're not up for it intellectually? Just spin doctor.

I won't tell you who he's pulling this stuff with or what is being said--will let those he's contacted make that choice. This latest attempt was to try to incite several of us into responding so he could prove we're all obsessed with the pushup king of Portland who saved us all during the Cuban missile crisis.
